Continuing Projects:
Flowers in the Library:
Provide fresh arrangements weekly in the Haddonfield Public Library at main and children’s circulation desks
Herb Sale:
Annual fund raiser held each spring. Date: MAY 11, 2013, 9am to 3pm at Kings Court -- rain or shine.
Scholarship for Haddonfield High School Senior:
Open to an HM HS senior planning to study horticulture
Planters Along the Highway:
Design, plant and maintain.
Holiday Decorations in the Library:
Decorate the Haddonfield Public Library for the holiday season including the children’s library
Bette Powell Memorial Garden:
Care of memorial garden at the Interfaith Caregivers building behind Borough Hall
Garden Therapy:
Conduct garden therapy activities with local residents
Town Clean-Up Day:
Assist with clean up in the Borough of Haddonfield.
Herb Garden at the Historical Society:
Plant and maintain garden
Business District:
Beautification of the Business District: Act as advisor and liaison for the Borough Streetscape Committee.
Tatem Memorial Garden:
Plant and maintain central display, coordinating with Borough.
Liaison with Two Haddonfield Organizations:
Markeim Art Center – plant and maintain two urns.
Haddonfield Streetscape – design , plant and maintain street urns. Design and order hanging baskets, supervise watering.
Patriotic Themed Baskets to Local Blue Star Families:
Decorate and deliver a patriotic themed basket to Haddonfield Blue Star familes with a note of appreciation on Memorial Day.
New Projects
Joint Meeting:
Host the Joint meeting with Moorestown Garden Club and Pinelands Garden Club of Medford
Holiday Decorations at the Indian King Tavern Museum:
Decorate the historic Tavern Museum in period holiday style to be featured on the Haddonfield Holiday House Tour.
Haddonfield’s 300th Anniversary Celebration Series:
Host a widely publicized Historical Society talk about the historic gardens of Haddonfield as part of a year-long celebration promoting the town’s history
