Bruce Crawford, Director of Rutgers Gardens, will give a brief history of the gardens at Holly House, followed by a slide presentation on "Hydrangeas - Great Plants for Great Gardens" and "Photography in the Garden."
"Mushrooms - More than Just Edible." Susan Hopkins, member of the NJ and North American Mycological Association, will discuss and demonstrate aspects of these fun fungi.
December 2
"Elfin Enchantment with Holiday Flair." Betty Markendorf, National Garden Club Master Flower Show judge, will demonstrate miniature and small designs. Holiday centerpiece design judging.
Auction to benefit Natural Disasters USA & International.
February 3
"My Funny Valentine" & "Isn't This Romantic?" A small standard and creative design competition for club members. Also, Horticulture Workshop for GCFH's Small Standard Flower Show in May.
March 3
"Color in the Garden Throughout the Year." Landscape designer Diane Guidone will present a slide show and discussion with ideas for enhancing the garden.
April 7
Field Trip - Deep Cut Park, Middletown, NJ. Tour of the gardens and a Bonsai demonstration.
May 5
This meeting will cover plans for the upcoming May 22nd garden tour and plant sale.
May 6
"Simply Spring," a Small Standard Flower Show presented by the Garden Club of Fair Haven at the Youth Center, Fisk Street. All are welcome.
May 22

Installation Luncheon for New Officers and annual GCFH Horticulture and Design awards presentation.
