“Contemporary Sculptural Design” Nancy Kitchen, AIFD of The Flower Loft returns with a fresh perspective on designing with props to create dramatic, visual floral statements.
“Floral Design & Horticultural Exhibits” Novice Members prepare traditional floral arrangements evoking “Memories of Summer,” while others exhibit functional table designs for “Dinner at Le Fromagerie.” Five classes of Horticulture exhibits are representative of “Amazing Autumn.”
“Basket Raffle” This popular GCFH fund raiser returns just in time for the holidays. Join us for a chance to win beautiful, tasty, functional & whimsical gifts to give or keep!
“Holiday Horticulture Workshop” Our Holiday Luncheon will be followed by a greens workshop where members will create a lovely holiday decoration for the home. Note that guests pay an additional fee to participate in the workshop.
“Using Native Plants to Beautify Your Garden” Laurel Von Gerichten, ALPD member and a certified rain garden instructor, will discuss the importance and benefits of using native plants in today’s gardens.
“Saving Our Coast” Tim Dillingham, Executive Director of the American Littoral Society, will speak on the critical conservation issues facing coastal environments.
“Celebrating St. Patrick,” a functional cocktail tray design for two and “Women’s Month,” a creative miniature design will brighten up the March meeting.
“Gardens of the Garden State” The talk Nancy Berner & Susan Lowry gave to our Club a few years ago inspired their latest book Gardens of the Garden State. At this meeting, Nancy & Susan take us on a visual tour of public & private gardens in New Jersey.
“Talking Bouquets,” “Oh Those Pollinators,” and “Spectacular Spring” evoke all facets of the season, with tussie mussies, small plaques, and gorgeous horticulture, all provided by our talented members.

Guests are welcome at all of our monthly programs, which usually start around 12:45 or 1:00, free of charge. Guests are also welcome to join us for member-provided luncheons each month at noon for a guest fee of $4.
